Whenever I don’t feel inspired, I write. I write everything that’s on my mind. I don’t write anything to show anybody except myself. In my journal, I am my truest self. This is where I write my fears, my happinesses, my wins, my losses. It’s where I can say things with no judgement.
I wanted to share a few prompts that get my creative juices flowing when I don’t know how or where to start. These open my mind up and let me explore some deep parts of my mind that haven’t been touched in a while. They dig deep in my soul and help me to realize who I truly am. These prompts bring me back to my center, and I hope they do the same for you.
- What did you always want to be when you grew up? Do you still want to do that now? Why or why not?
- Who do you look up to most and why?
- Tell me about your favorite piece of art. (Show, Movie, Book, Song, Art Piece, etc.)
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
- What have you done to take care of yourself today?
If you have any other journal prompts that you love, let me know in the comments!!
With love,
Sam
